What Should Everyone Know about Yoga ?

Contrary to popular belief, not all can do yoga – it’s not a matter of character and not in the physical constitution of a person, but in the unswerving observance of rules, without which full-fledged yoga exercises do not make sense.

These rules are simple in execution, but require discipline from a beginner yoga:

Firstly, all asanas should be performed on an empty stomach, if this is impossible for any reasons, you can drink only a cup of tea, coffee, cocoa, milk, but not later than an hour before the session.

After a more dense meal, at least 4 hours must pass.

After classes you can eat in half an hour.

These simple rules that must be observed, in general, engaged in any kind of training, are made by generations of yogis for a reason – any rule, surprisingly, has its explanation from a medical point of view.

Occupations for a full stomach are extremely undesirable because almost all asanas yoga stimulate the so-called internal massage of organs, increase circulation of all body fluids, including those located directly in different organs.

Especially contribute to this inverted asanas, which can wrongly affect the organs due to their fullness.

Secondly, it is necessary before the exercise to release the intestine and bladder.

Otherwise, only two asanas are permitted: Sirshasana (stand on head) and Sarvangasana (this is a stand on the shoulders, it is called “the mother of all the asanas”, since her positive influence on the whole organism is invaluable).

Third, do yoga it is recommended either early in the morning or late at night – depending on what effect you want to get from the class.

Accordingly, if you need to find a tone and vivacity – yoga will be useful in the morning, to relax and relieve tension yoga is better to do it late at night.

Naturally, the morning and evening exercises will be slightly different.

Fourth, it is recommended to take a shower before and after classes.

Fifth, asanas should be performed in a well-ventilated room, it is not recommended to practice on the bare floor.

At sixth, when performing asanas, as well as after classes, there should be no negative sensations in the muscles.

Symptoms of tension or muscle fatigue are indicative of improper exercise.

During the asanas, all movements should be smooth and light, breathing free, through the nose, eyes open (you can close your eyes only when you achieve complete perfection of the asanas), if breathing becomes confused, overtaxes, the asanas are better stopped, things indicate that the body is not feeling well.

Seventh, recently, the special benefit of yoga for women. This is indeed so. But there are some caveats, for example, it is not recommended to perform asanas during menstruation, only some of them can be useful for painful and profuse menstruation,

for example, Buddha Konasan and Uttanasana. These postures relieve menstrual pain, Uttanasana helps to get rid of nervous tension, it is recommended to easily excitable and irritable people.

Complexes of yoga exercises for pregnant women are extremely popular now.

The possibility of their implementation depends on the period of pregnancy.

In the first trimester, you can perform all the asanas.

In addition, several asanas are recommended, which not only strengthen the pelvic muscles and the lumbar spine, but also greatly facilitate the course of labor.

They are all the same Buddha Konasana and Upavista Konasana.

The only remark:

all exercises should be performed smoothly, feelings of tension or pain should not be in any case.

For pregnant women, Pranayama (deep regular breathing) is very useful without delaying breathing, as this contributes to the normal intake of nutrients to the baby.

“The life of a yogi is measured not by the number of days, but by the number of breaths” – the technique of Pranayama learns all of life.

In the postpartum period, it is recommended to wait a month, and the full range of yoga exercises can be done only 3 months after childbirth.

Constant practicing yoga not only changes a person’s physical condition.

A person becomes disciplined and calm.

Yoga, of course, is aimed at improving the body, but the primary task of yoga is to maintain health, both physical and mental. For enquiries, you can get me on priscaadaeze185@gmail.com
